NFL Players Association, Washington, D.C.

In January of 2007, Chesapeake Electrical Systems, Inc. entered into a contract with the Whiting-Turner Contracting Company (http://www.whiting-turner.com) for the renovation and associated upgrades to approximately 130,000 square feet of office space at the National Football League Players Association, located at 1133 20th Street, N.W. Washington, D.C.

The scope of work included a state of the art lighting package, fire alarm upgrades, a stand by emergency generator as well as a dimming system designed to interact with the custom audio-visual equipment.

The schedule called for substantial completion in a 26 week period. Despite the fast track schedule and unanticipated delivery issues, Chesapeake Electrical Systems, Inc. was able to deliver the project on time and to the satisfaction of all.
