The 2121 K Street project consisted of the renovation of the existing 235,000 square foot base building, and the addition of three stories. CES worked as a subcontractor to James G. Davis Construction (http://www.davisconstrction.com), handling the renovation of the existing elevator lobbies, adding façade lighting, and outfitting the new fitness center. Adding to the complexity of this project, the building was kept 100% operational while the additional floors were under construction, with no interruptions to key electrical components such as the building-wide fire alarm system.
