In August of 2002 CES was awarded the electrical subcontract from Cherry Hill Construction for work associated with the streetscape project at the new Washington, D.C. Convention Center. The scope of work for this project included the complete rehabilitation of six intersections that encircled the new building. In support of the project, 77 new street light poles and fixtures were installed, and more than 40,000 linear feet of conduit, 30 new manholes, and all the necessary wiring to feed the new traffic signals and street lights were also incorporated into the installation.

History
