Since 1993, Chesapeake Electrical Systems (CES) has provided the full range of electrical contracting and services to a wide variety of clients in the commercial and industrial sectors.

Headquartered in Laurel, Maryland, and with offices in D.C. and Virginia, CES specializes in construction while maintaining a Service Group with 24 hour emergency response and disaster recovery. CES is ideally situated to assist clients in the nation's capital, Baltimore and surrounding cities; to date, the company's 100 construction professionals have worked on contracts from Baltimore, MD to Virginia's Tidewater region.

Chesapeake Electrical Systems, Inc. provided the Electrical Contracting to build United Airlines Hangar for the new wide body 787 passenger jet, including approximately 21,700 sq. ft. of office space, 10,000 square feet of mechanical and metal shops and over 106,000 square feet of hangar bay area zoned Class 1 – Division 1 Hazardous location.

As the electrical contractor for the $31.6 million Frederick Douglass Bridge renovations, Chesapeake Electrical Systems was a key part of the project team recognized for its participation on Mid-Atlantic Construction Magazines Project of the Year. The bridge rehabilitation, which was contracted by the D.C. Department of Transportation, involved major upgrades to the bridge's architecture and infrastructure.
